What should I do the first time I open HiCoCo?

Pick an AI friend you like and start chatting. There is no setup-heavy onboarding or course flow before your first message.

Do I need prior English skills to use it?

No. Even if you do not know how to reply yet, HiCoCo can offer hints to help you begin speaking.

Chat

What are Hint suggestions?

Hints appear when you get stuck and offer a natural direction for your reply. You can send them as-is or rewrite them in your own words.

Do AI friends remember earlier conversations?

Yes. HiCoCo uses recent chat context and your learning state to keep future conversations more continuous and relevant.

Learning

What does tap-to-lookup include?

Word cards can show definitions, pronunciation, and example usage so you understand the word inside the current conversation.

How does pronunciation feedback work?

After you send voice input, the system provides an overall score plus more granular phoneme-level guidance on what to improve.

Account & Subscription

How do I cancel Pro?

Cancel through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact support@hicoco.app and we will help process account and associated data deletion.

Technical

Which features work offline?

Cached chats, dictionary data, and part of the practice flow can remain available offline depending on what has already been stored on your device.

Will my learning data sync across devices?

Yes, supported chat and learning data sync when you sign in with the same account and have network access.
